These Terms of Use govern your use of olelleadership.com (the "site"), operated by OLEL Leadership LLC ("OLEL," "we," "us"). By using the site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

1. Who may use the site

The site is intended for adults 18 and older. By using it, you confirm that you are at least 18.

2. Our content

All content on the site, including text, the OLEL Method and its eight capacities and eight shadow patterns, the Practice Library, Insights articles, graphics, design, audio, and video, is owned by OLEL Leadership LLC or its licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark law.

You may view, download, and use our content for your own personal, noncommercial development. You are welcome to share links to any page. You may quote brief excerpts with clear attribution to OLEL Leadership and a link to the source.

Without our written permission, you may not:

  • Reproduce, republish, or distribute our content beyond brief attributed excerpts.

  • Use our content, practices, or frameworks to teach, train, coach, or facilitate others for a fee or within an organization.

  • Adapt, translate, or create derivative programs, courses, or materials from our content.

  • Remove copyright or trademark notices.

  • Scrape, harvest, or copy the site by automated means, or use our content to train artificial intelligence or machine learning systems.

3. Trademarks

OLEL Leadership™, OLEL Method™, and related names and logos are trademarks of OLEL Leadership LLC. You may not use them in a way that suggests OLEL sponsors, endorses, or is affiliated with you or your work without our written permission. Other trademarks on the site belong to their respective owners.

4. Programs and purchases

Coaching, OLEL Circles, and OLEL Leadership Immersions are governed by the separate agreement or program terms you accept at enrollment. If those terms conflict with these Terms of Use, the program terms control.

5. What you send us

When you send us an inquiry or feedback, you confirm that you have the right to share it. We may use feedback and suggestions to improve our work without obligation to you. We will never publish your name, words, or story as a testimonial without your written permission.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the site to break the law, infringe others' rights, interfere with the site's operation or security, attempt unauthorized access to any system, or submit false or harmful information.

7. Not professional advice

Content on the site is offered for educational and reflective purposes. It is not medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice. Please read our Disclaimers, which are part of these terms.

8. Links to other sites

The site may link to websites we do not control. We are not responsible for their content or practices, and a link does not mean we endorse them.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

The site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, OLEL disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the site will be uninterrupted, error free, or free of harmful components.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, OLEL Leadership LLC and its owners, contractors, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the site or its content. Our total liability for any claim relating to the site will not exceed one hundred dollars ($100). This section does not limit liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless OLEL Leadership LLC from claims, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising from your misuse of the site or your violation of these terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute relating to the site will be brought in the state or federal courts serving Albemarle County, Virginia, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

13. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. We will post the updated version here with a new effective date. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised terms.

14. General

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of it. These terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Disclaimers, are the entire agreement between you and OLEL regarding use of the site.
