Effective October 1, 2026

OLEL Leadership offers leadership development grounded in contemplative practice and contemporary science. We want you to know clearly what that work is, and what it is not.

Coaching and programs are not therapy or medical care

OLEL coaching, OLEL Circles, and OLEL Leadership Immersions are educational and developmental. They are not psychotherapy, counseling, medical care, or treatment for any mental or physical health condition, and they are not a substitute for care from a licensed professional. Leslie Hubbard is a certified executive coach, not a licensed therapist or physician. If you are working with a health or mental health provider, please continue that care and consult them if you have questions about whether our programs are right for you.

Practicing with care

Meditation, breath, and movement practices are gentle, and they can occasionally bring up difficult emotions, memories, or physical sensations. Practice at your own pace. You are always free to pause, adjust, keep your eyes open, or stop. If a practice brings up distress that feels like too much, stop and reach out to a qualified professional or someone you trust. If you are in crisis in the United States, call or text 988 to reach the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, or call 911 in an emergency. Outside the United States, contact your local emergency services.

Please consult a physician before physical practices or immersion activities if you have a medical condition, injury, or are pregnant.

Leadership assessments

When OLEL administers established instruments such as the EQ-i 2.0 or Hogan assessments, we do so as a certified practitioner under each publisher's standards. Results describe tendencies and preferences at a point in time. They are one input for reflection and development, not a verdict on who you are.

No guaranteed results

Every person and organization is different. Growth depends on many factors, including your own practice and circumstances, so we cannot promise any particular outcome from our coaching, programs, or content.

Testimonials

Testimonials on this site reflect the real experiences of individual clients and participants, shared with their permission. They are not a guarantee that you will have the same experience. Unless noted, no one was paid or given free services in exchange for a testimonial. Some testimonials are shared without full names to protect client confidentiality.

A contemplative tradition, offered secularly

The OLEL Method draws on the Noble Eightfold Path and the contemplative tradition of Thich Nhat Hanh, alongside neuroscience, systems science, and behavioral science. It is offered in secular form and requires no religious belief or affiliation. OLEL is an independent company and does not represent or speak for any religious community or institution.

Educational content

Articles, practices, and other content on this site are for general education and reflection. They are not medical, psychological, legal, financial, or employment advice for your specific situation.
