Privacy Policy

OLEL Leadership LLC ("OLEL," "we," "us") respects the trust you place in us when you share information about yourself. This policy explains what we collect through olelleadership.com and our programs, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Who we are

OLEL Leadership LLC is a Virginia limited liability company offering executive coaching and leadership programs. You can reach us at leslie@olelleadership.com.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us. When you subscribe to our newsletter, submit an inquiry, schedule a call, purchase a program, or become a coaching client, we collect what you provide. This may include your name, email address, organization, role, phone number, billing details, and anything you choose to write to us.

Coaching and program information. Coaching clients and program participants may share personal and professional reflections, goals, and leadership assessment results such as EQ-i 2.0 and Hogan reports. We treat this information as confidential, as described in section 6.

Information collected automatically. When you visit the site, our website platform and analytics tools collect standard technical information such as your browser type, device, approximate location based on IP address, pages viewed, and referring site. Some of this is collected through cookies. You can control non-essential cookies through the cookie banner.

Payment information. Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store your full card number.

3. How we use your information

We use your information to:

  • Respond to inquiries and schedule conversations.

  • Deliver coaching, OLEL Circles, and OLEL Leadership Immersions you have purchased or joined.

  • Process payments and send receipts.

  • Send our newsletter and occasional updates about OLEL offerings, if you have subscribed.

  • Administer leadership assessments and prepare debriefs.

  • Understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it.

  • Meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising.

4. Legal bases for processing (European Economic Area and United Kingdom)

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we process your information on these legal bases: performance of a contract, when we deliver services you have purchased; consent, for our newsletter and non-essential cookies; legitimate interests, for operating and improving our site and responding to inquiries; and legal obligation, for tax and accounting records. You may withdraw consent at any time.

5. How we share your information

We share information only with service providers who help us operate OLEL, and only as needed for them to do that work. These include:

  • Squarespace, which hosts our website.

  • Kit (formerly ConvertKit), which manages our email list and inquiry forms.

  • CoachAccountable, which manages coaching scheduling, agreements, invoices, and client records.

  • Zoom, which hosts live sessions.

  • Stripe, which processes payments.

  • Multi-Health Systems (MHS) and Hogan Assessment Systems, which administer leadership assessments when you take one through OLEL.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect the rights and safety of OLEL or others, or in connection with a merger, sale, or transfer of our business, in which case this policy would continue to apply.

6. Confidentiality in coaching

What you share in coaching is governed by your coaching agreement and by the ICF Code of Ethics. We do not disclose it without your permission except where the law requires, such as a risk of serious harm to yourself or others. When an organization sponsors your coaching, we share only what you and your sponsor have agreed to in writing, which is typically attendance and general progress, never the content of your sessions.

7. How long we keep information

We keep newsletter information until you unsubscribe. We keep client and purchase records for as long as needed to provide services and meet legal and tax requirements, generally seven years after our work together ends. Coaching notes are kept for the period stated in your coaching agreement. Inquiry messages that do not become engagements are deleted within two years.

8. Your choices and rights

  • Email. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. You can also write to us to unsubscribe.

  • Cookies. You can accept or decline non-essential cookies through our cookie banner and change that choice at any time through your browser.

  • Access, correction, and deletion. You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by writing to leslie@olelleadership.com. We will respond within 30 days, or sooner where the law requires. We may keep records we are legally required to retain.

  • Additional rights. Depending on where you live, including California, Virginia, the European Economic Area, and the United Kingdom, you may have further rights, such as the right to restrict or object to processing, to data portability, or to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority. We will honor these rights as the law of your location requires, and we will not treat you differently for exercising them.

9. Do Not Track signals

Some browsers send "Do Not Track" signals. Because there is no common standard for these signals, our site does not currently respond to them. You can manage tracking through the cookie banner and your browser settings.

10. Security

We use reputable service providers and reasonable safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. International visitors

OLEL is based in the United States, and your information is processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards offered by our service providers for these transfers.

12. Children

Our site and programs are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our offerings change. We will post the updated version here with a new effective date, and we will notify subscribers by email of any significant change.
